After just a year of marriage, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are growing their family.
The Stranger Things star, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, have announced that they are officially parents, revealing via Instagram that they have adopted a baby girl.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple shared in a joint statement on Instagram. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood, both in peace and privacy… And then there were 3.”
For Brown, motherhood has always been a calling. Earlier this year, she confessed during an appearance on the SmartLess podcast that she had long dreamed of adopting, tracing the desire back to her own childhood.
“My home is full of love for anyone and anything,” she reflected. “Our energy in the house is like, the door is always open.”
Both Brown and Bongiovi come from large, close-knit families—both are one of four siblings—and she has often spoken about wanting to replicate that dynamic.
While little is known about their new bundle of joy, the couple were photographed this week in East Hampton, pushing a stroller with iced coffees in hand. Brown wore a pale pink sweatshirt emblazoned with “Mother”, as well as a pink phone case that featured the letters “RWB”—a clue to her daughter’s name, perhaps?
Brown and Bongiovi, the son of legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi, have been inseparable since they went public with their relationship back in 2021.
In April 2023, the two made it official by getting engaged before tying the knot during a romantic Italian ceremony in May 2024. For the occasion, the actress wore four stunning wedding dresses.
