New York Fashion Week has just wrapped up, which means we just got a fresh new slate of beauty inspiration. From Ralph Lauren and Coach to Collina Strada and Diotima, the Spring/Summer 2026 shows welcomed brand new makeup and hair trends that are set to redefine the upcoming season.
Like the models at Sandy Liang and Cos, lean into neutrals and pinks on the lips to channel quiet confidence. On the face, Calvin Klein let that same subtlety take over with barely-there base makeup. The easy, breezy attitude was also brought into the hairstyles of the season: Ralph Lauren allowed natural, brushed textures to shine while Tory Burch revived a K-beauty-inspired trend.
Read on to discover the hottest beauty trends we spotted on the Spring/Summer 2026 runways at New York Fashion Week.
Brushed, Natural Hair at Ralph Lauren

Following the breezy, lived-in hair styles of seasons past, Ralph Lauren brings back natural hair textures for Spring/Summer 2026. Loose textures, soft volume and combed-out ease reigned on the models at the show, where the image of the modern woman got an effortless, radiant upgrade.
Perilla Fringe at Tory Burch

On the Tory Burch runway, models sported a side-swept hairstyle that brought to mind a certain K-beauty trend: perilla fringe. This Y2K-esque hairstyle has been worn and loved by K-pop stars like Sakura from Le Sserafim and Rosé from Blackpink, and now, it’s making waves in the Western hemisphere. While the Korean iterations are thinner and lie closer to the face, the models at Tory Burch featured thicker sections on the forehead, strewn downwards towards the temple.
Pastel Lipstick at Coach

For Stuart Vevers’s Spring 2026 collection at Coach, he had models sport a range of pastel-powered lip colours. Ranging from a sweet pink to bolder mauve hues, Coach has got us thinking that light, Y2K-inspired lipsticks never really go out of style.
Loose Locks And Soft Nude Lips at Cos

At the Cos Fall/Winter 2025 runway show, models wore their hair in loose, barely-together ponytails. The understated energy carried over to the lips too—with models sporting powdery, nude tones that ever-so-slightly tinted the pout. While attending the show, I-dle‘s Shuhua opted for a similar look—only her lipstick presented a dusty apricot shade in place of the true neutral tones worn by the models.
(Spray) Painted Faces at Diotima

On the Diotima runway, highlights in beauty took on new meaning. Models strutted down the runway with spray paint lightly airbrushed near the temples. On certain models, the colour even crept its way onto the hair. And while this dramatic look might seem too loud for everyday wear, you can take inspiration from this for your dressier events—music festivals, concerts, and photoshoots with your friends. When it comes to beauty, the possibilities are endless.
Pink Hues And ’50s Era Curls at Sandy Liang

Sandy Liang’s Spring/Summer 2026 season captured the youthful energy of trinkets and Tamagotchis. This playful exuberance was transposed into details that whispered of a bygone era. Light pinks adorned the face. Meanwhile, over in the hair department, bouncy curls—reminiscent of 1950s glamour—defined face-framing money pieces.
Blotted Brown Pouts and Boy Blush at Michael Kors

Brontouring is in, says Michael Kors. At the brand’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, cheeks were defined, lifted and warmed to a toasty finish with brown blush. In keeping with the mocha mousse theme, lips also received a blotted mahogany sheen.
If you’re looking for a more glamorous alternative to claw clips, Michael Kors shows you how to keep your locks out of your face with a leather-capped, French pin-adjacent accessory. Bid adieu to your banana hair clips—Michael Kors has got you covered.
Bare Skin at Calvin Klein

At Calvin Klein, minimalism was brought to a new level. Models walked down the runway with no-makeup makeup looks. Without a tinge of colour in sight, the skin was laid bare and matte, with light, nude lips seamlessly completing the look.
Colour Galore at Collina Strada

On the opposite end, colour reigned supreme at the Collina Strada show. Metallic greens bejewelled the lips, eyes and nose bridge. Vibrant purple eyeshadow was extended all the way to the brow bone, and tapped onto the lips for a monochromatic effect.
Bold Lips at Off-White

Similarly, at the Off-White show, pigmented lips took centre stage. Deep grungy tones sculpted the lip contours for a high-contrast take on bold beauty. On the daily, you can embrace darker tones on the lips with a powdered pigment instead. Wine and berry tones are your best friends when perfecting this look on Asian skin tones.
