As the Holy Month began on March 1, 2025, Muslims around the globe marked the start of Ramadan with a time seeped in worship, charity and prayer.
But amid the festivities, celebrities, many including regional or international, look back to the fellow community that has been struck with devastation during Ramadan. One such star is Bella Hadid, who always stands in solidarity.
The unapologetic Palestinian-Dutch model and activist has shared her heartfelt wishes to the people of Palestine, who, despite enduring the remnants of the conflict, welcomed the first day of Ramadan with an Iftar feast.
Taking to her Instagram Story’s, she shared a post with her 61.2 million followers that showed Palestinians preparing for Iftar.
“Iftar in Gaza on the first day of Ramadan,” she began, adding. “We will always find light in the darkness.”
Never one to forget her heritage and remaining to be grateful, she lovingly greeted: “Ramadan Mubarak, my family.”
Shortly after, the 28-year-old model extended her Ramadan greetings on her social media platform: “Ramadan Mubarak to all of my Muslim friends, community, and loved ones.”
She also shared her blessings for the community, continuing, “I wish you health, prosperity, happiness, strength, and joy during this Holy month.”
Her message to the Muslim community didn’t go unnoticed as regional celebrities such as Palestinian rapper, singer, songwriter Saint Levant and even the iconic Egyptian actress Ghada Abdelrazek warmly commented their blessings to the model.
Bella’s family also took a moment to reflect, with her cousin Lina Hadid sharing a touching reel of resilient Palestinian children, which Bella reposted on her Instagram Story.
