The fashion world has touched down in London town, and they wasted no time getting glammed up and hitting the streets. London Fashion Week this year was a celebration of new and old, of British heritage and style codes, but through a modern lens. Burberry revisited house tradition while H&M made a pitch to the youth by tapping Gen Z cool kids like Lila Moss and Romeo Beckham to walk the runway. And while the fashion gives us plenty to ponder over, the guest list was equally as dazzling.
H&M’s edgy take on Gen Z style was fittingly held at 180 Strand, an iconic piece of brutalist architecture that now serves as a London cultural hub. Along with internet It girls like Emily Ratajkowski and Gabriette, Thai stars and H&M brand ambassadors Mew Suppasit and Yoko Apasra also made appearances. The pair had aced the style game all week, whether they were exploring London streets or posing against hotel room backdrops, so it was no surprise that they nailed the evening’s nonchalant glam theme. Apasra opted for a deep brown cropped fur jacket and black miniskirt combo, while Suppasit pulled off an outfit change, going from a minimalist blazer and t-shirt to a drapey white sweatshirt—all while rocking the indoor sunglasses look, of course.
Later in the week, Burberry also celebrated British culture, although in a distinctly more traditional way. The British house held its runway show at Perks Field in Kensington Palace Gardens, a location that holds history for the brand. The guest list was about as star-studded as you would expect from a label as iconic as Burberry, and with the cold weather packing a bite, they gave us a crash course in dressing for fall.
It was all about statement coats, velvet, and detailed embellishments—Seungmin of Stray Kids looked dapper in a cross-stitched sweater inspired by a 15th-century tapestry, while Korean actress Jung Eun-chae donned an elegant burnt orange dress with velvet floral motifs. Brand ambassador Wu Lei looked handsome as ever in a coat that took the classic Burberry trench silhouette and gave it a corduroy twist. Stars like Bright Vachirawit and i-dle’s Shuhua also made appearances, looking cosily wrapped up in chic coats.
