Singapore’s skyline is welcoming a towering new addition soon, and Aman Resorts is giving it a touch of luxury. The Switzerland-based luxury hotel brand is making its Singapore entry at The Skywaters, the 63-storey skyscraper set to be completed in 2028.
Aman is known for its blend of luxurious interiors with top-tier service, with hotels often located in tranquil settings far from the bustle of urban centres. Their Singapore location, however, will be nestled right in the heart of the Central Business District, offering guests a sanctuary amidst city life. The property will include a mix of hotel suites and branded luxury residences, as well as the brand’s ultra-exclusive, invite-only global members’ club. As for the building Aman will call home, at 305 metres tall, The Skywaters is set to be Singapore’s tallest building upon the completion of construction. The cutting-edge new development promises a mix of hotels, retail spaces, and residences, interspersed with greenery and garden terraces every few floors.
Aman Singapore’s interiors will be the work of Kerry Hill Architects, the reputed interior design firm that is responsible for many of Aman’s most stunning properties, including Aman Tokyo and the upcoming Aman Niseko. Aman’s properties fuse their signature clean luxury with the local and regional influences of their host nations. In Singapore’s case, the upcoming space draws inspiration from the city’s iconic black and white bungalows.
While we have yet to receive more than a glimpse at Aman Singapore’s suites, their design inspiration suggests a blend of dark wood, whitewashed walls, and refined elegance. The Singapore property also promises amenities that will only be available to guests and residents, such as an infinity pool and a luxe Aman Spa. The suites are also touted as some of the largest in Singapore, offering panoramic city views.
