Horoscopes August 25-31: Get Ready For A Surge In Productive Energy

Dust off that 'to-do' list, Virgo season is here to make sure things get done.
Horoscopes August 25-31, 2025.

There’s a productive quality to this week that should have you feeling ready to take on the world… or at least take on some serious life admin. As we leap into waxing moon energy (read: getting it done), rolling up your sleeves and tackling something that’s been on your to-do list for ages is a great way to leverage this energy.

We’re also officially clear of the Mercury retrograde shadow, which means any loose ends that have been hanging over your head since late July should now finally be resolved.

Some minor caution should be exercised around Tuesday-Wednesday, when the moon and Mars could make for some very passive-aggressive energy. If someone says, “It’s fine!” don’t take it at face value; chances are, it definitely isn’t.

ARIES AND ARIES RISING

Health and well-being step into the spotlight this week with Virgo season in full swing. If you’ve been avoiding your reformer class like a one-and-done blind date, now is the time to get back on the horse. Speaking of dates, you should be feeling a whole lot more outgoing, too, as Venus moves into the realm of your chart that rules hooking up. It’s a noticeable key change that could see you saying, “Sure, why not?” more than you have been in recent months.

If any question marks were hanging over whether you had a connection with someone from as far back as July, expect to get a good read on where you stand this week.

TAURUS AND TAURUS RISING

There’s a palpable change in the air this week as Virgo season kicks off. For bulls, it’s pulling focus to the corner of your chart relating to pleasure, play and creativity. If you’ve got kids, or you’re thinking about falling pregnant, expect them (or the idea of them) to take up more brain space than usual.

In other news, Venus’ shift into Leo brings a “Let’s redecorate!” feel to your domestic sphere. After more than a month of feeling especially low-key, it’s the sort of weather that could see you introducing leopard print into your interiors on a whim. Enjoy the glam, sometimes more is more!

GEMINI AND GEMINI RISING

Virgo season is bringing a lot of attention to your home and family. With the sun casting a spotlight on where you’re living—and who you’re living with—expect to feel super motivated to refine, revise and improve. Decluttering will be an irresistible temptation as you’re inspired to prune, pare back and simplify.

Elsewhere, Venus is bringing the fun and play to the way you connect with extended family and people nearby (think: your favourite neighbours). If there’s been any weirdness of late with people within this category, expect it to feel resolved entirely by the time the week is out.

CANCER AND CANCER RISING

Time to get organised! Newly minted and inspired by an electrifying new moon last weekend, you’re ready to clean, clear and get organised. Whether it’s the bottom drawer of your kitchen, your work expenses or booking your car service, this is a week to get involved in life admin with a bit of gusto.

Venus in Leo is bringing a rosy vibe to all things cash-related, which could help smooth out any outstanding drama that’s been unfolding in that area since late July (blame Mercury retrograde). Don’t be afraid to pare back and simplify in any way that feels aligned with what you truly value.

LEO AND LEO RISING

Cash and finances are firmly front and centre this week, off the back of last weekend’s new moon. A bolt of inspiration that struck on Saturday could hold the key to finding new ways to work with cash. Virgo energy is all about getting rid of what you don’t need and improving the process.

As unglamorous as it may sound, it might be the exact right time to review where your money is going. Do you need all the bank accounts you’ve got open right now? Could you consolidate your savings or make your money work harder for you? It’s grown-up stuff, but also important. You may as well tackle it while you’ve got help from the stars.

VIRGO AND VIRGO RISING

Can you feel that? It’s the sweet warmth of your home season in full swing. After a majorly murky Leo season, the sun is shining, and you can activate optimisation mode with reckless abandon. Refine, repair and resolve are the words of the week as you look for tiny tweaks that can make your life, your health and even your wardrobe work smarter, not harder.

Do a bathroom cupboard clear out, see a dermatologist to review your skincare routine, rearrange your shoes and handbags or lash out on a block of hydrafacials. ‘Tis the season for self-improvement, so lean in and lap it up.

LIBRA AND LIBRA RISING

Feeling tapped out? It’s not your imagination; it’s in the sky. As you enter the most low-key season of your calendar, now is the time to go to ground. Self-care, meditation and journaling are all optimal ways to work with the energy this week. With Virgo season inspiring big redo energy, it’s the perfect time to tackle something you’ve been trying to avoid.

Look for ways you can let go of baggage—both physical and emotional—that has been taking up unnecessary space. A big clean and declutter at home is a good way to get things moving. Once you start, you’ll be on a roll.

SCORPIO AND SCORPIO RISING

Are you behind on friend admin? This is your week to catch up on the group chat, call that person you’ve been meaning to get back to or make plans for a long overdue catch-up. With Virgo season igniting inspiration to get in and tackle what you’ve been trying to avoid, it’s the perfect week for getting back up to speed. And it’s not only you who’s feeling inspired. Don’t be surprised if a friend or contact also reaches out to finally schedule a time with you. Don’t ruminate on why it’s taken so long to get your act together; just enjoy the surge of productivity.

SAGITTARIUS AND SAGITTARIUS RISING

Work and career goals are in focus this week as you get a major nudge from the planets to get in and get on with the job. This is excellent weather to refine and revise what it is you’re working towards. Schedule a check-in with your manager or consider getting some advice from a career coach or mentor.

There’s no such thing as too prepared; lists, journaling and business plans are your new best friends. If you come up blank when you sit down to actually do it, lean on the big, vast Internet for some ideas on how to get started. You’ve got this.

CAPRICORN AND CAPRICORN RISING

It’s an earthy, practical sort of week this week—just the way you like. With the Sun lighting up the part of your chart related to higher education, travel and far-flung places, don’t be surprised if you do pull the trigger on booking airfares for your Next Big Trip. Alternatively, if you’ve been daydreaming about retraining, you could find yourself deep in a research rabbit hole about post-grad courses or “Where to learn French in person”.

Planning, researching and bullet journals are all part of the fun. Get involved!

AQUARIUS AND AQUARIUS RISING

Time to get serious about all the necessary but not-so-glamorous corners of your life, like investments, debt and maybe even a few skeletons in your closet. The planets are paving the way to get stuff done, so make the most of the opportunity and jump in with both feet. If you’ve let things slide or just starting feels overwhelming, don’t be afraid to call on some professional help.

Financial advisors, well-informed friends or even a therapist could be just the ticket to help you start to tidy up loose ends.

PISCES AND PISCES RISING

The focus is firmly on the people you’re with—and the people you care about—this week. As Virgo season lights up the part of your chart focused on your most significant relationships, your energy and attention are firmly on what stuff they have going on. They’re likely in a period of significant change or upheaval, so remaining calm and supportive amidst the chaos is essential. Keep your centre by carving me-time that puts your health and well-being first.

With Venus igniting the part of your chart that rules fitness, getting your heart rate up will feel more fun than usual—make the most of it!
