GRAZIA Malaysia Turns It Up with Devialet’s Phantom Ultimate

Where style and innovation took centre stage. Guests discovered what it truly means to hear music come alive.

Devialet is back with something truly special: the Phantom Ultimate, ten years after the first Phantom revolutionised the audio industry. The French luxury brand calls it the pinnacle of audio engineering, and it’s easy to see why.

To celebrate the launch, Devialet partnered with GRAZIA Malaysia for an exclusive event at Blossom A Glassmansion. The evening gathered a vibrant crowd, including Midnight Fusic, Amy and Dalini from COËX, Uzair Sawal of fono, powerhouse singers Vanessa Reynauld and Melissa Anne, and more. Hosted by Alexis Sueann, guests were introduced to the brand and its latest masterpiece by Martin Ku, Regional Director of Devialet APAC, and Jean-Loup Afresne, Chief Product and Technical Officer.

The team unveiled three new colourways for the Phantom Ultimate: Pearl White, Deep Forest, and the elegant Opéra de Paris edition. Each features a new matte finish that feels instantly more refined, as compared to the previous model.

This powerful speaker delivers a stunning frequency range from 14Hz to 35kHz, producing deeper bass and brighter highs than ever before. With Heart Bass Implosion (HBI) technology, it reaches infra-bass levels all the way down to 14Hz, while two perfectly synchronised woofers work within an airtight structure to create sound you can feel.

Together with Devialet’s Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH) system, the Phantom Ultimate produces sound that is both precise and beautifully clear. At full power, it can pull an incredible 1100 watts, filling any space with effortless energy. In terms of connectivity, the Phantom Ultimate supports Bluetooth 5.3, Google Cast, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, UPnP, and Roon Ready, so you can stream your music from virtually anywhere.

Following that, guests heard drums, violin, and double bass played independently to see how the Phantom Ultimate gives each sound a rich, realistic quality. Devialet hopes to create the feeling of being at a live performance through its immersive sound. Guests couldn’t help but be intrigued by the inside of the speaker. Several pointed out how clean and precise everything looked inside, and Devialet proudly showed it off. The conversation quickly turned to the app too, which offers four listening modes for music, movies, podcasts, and monitoring.

In the listening room, everyone had the chance to explore how the Phantom handled different genres, from bass-heavy pop to jazz, R&B, and EDM. It proved that Devialet isn’t just for the sound experts. It’s for anyone who loves music that feels alive and sounds amazing.

The evening ended upstairs at the Glassmansion Bar, where Devialet speakers filled both the indoor and outdoor spaces with music to party to. It was the perfect conclusion to a night celebrating innovation, design, and the pure joy of listening. Check out more of the photos from the night below.
