
Today, New York’s American Museum of Natural History was transformed from an institution of science into a runway of its own, as the fashion world’s brightest descended for the 2025 CFDA Awards.
Often dubbed the “Oscars of fashion,” the ceremony—first held in 1981—honours both the legacy and future of American style. This year’s celebration, hosted by One Battle After Another star Teyana Taylor, gathered the industry’s most celebrated names. Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, Thom Browne, Donatella Versace, Khaite’s Catherine Holstein and Rachel Scott of Diotima and Proenza Schouler made up some of the designers in attendance, while the star power of celebrities comprised Rihanna and A$AP Rocky—who received the coveted Fashion Icon Award—Addison Rae, Laura Harrier, Naomi Watts,
