This season, Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri revisits the timeless toile de Jouy. The emblematic pastoral motif is not only the anchor of Dior’s couture and savoir-faire, but the bucolic patterns also emanate a sense of timeless romanticism and escapism—an ideal way to set sail into summer.
Unlike the usual striking and luscious choice of colour palette for the summer capsule, softer and subtler shades of pink, grey, cream, and blue were instead used as a means to mimic the delicate nature of porcelain. The toile de Jouy sauvage is available on some of the brand’s iconic bags like the Lady D-Lite, Book Tote, and the lining for Lady Dior Wicker. The weather-appropriate ready-to-wear, scarves, and J’Adior slingback pumps—not forgetting the accessories that help with sun protection like hats, visors and sunglasses—makes this the perfect collection to pack your suitcase with all things Dior.
