Dakota Johnson and Role Model have added fresh fuel to the dating rumour mill, stepping out for what appeared to be another low-key date night in Los Angeles this week.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star, 36, and the musician, 28 (real name Tucker Pillsbury), were spotted entering celebrity haunt Marvin in Beverly Hills on Wednesday evening, according to a fan-filmed video obtained by Deumoxi. In the clip (see here), they can be seen strolling into the venue in coordinated all-black ensembles.
Representatives for both Johnson and Role Model have yet to comment, but this is not the first time the duo have been linked. Dating speculation first began swirling in December, when the pair were photographed at a candlelit dinner with friends. Images shared by TMZ showed the two leaning in to one another, deep in conversation, with an insider later claiming they “got very close” over the course of the evening.
If confirmed, the romance would mark Johnson’s first public relationship since her split from Chris Martin. The actor and the Coldplay frontman were together for around eight years before quietly parting ways in June 2025. While neither has addressed the breakup directly, a source told The US Sun that their 12-year age gap—and differing views on having children—contributed to the separation. Martin, the source claimed, is “kind of done with that part of his life”, as he already shares daughter Apple, 21, and son Moses, 19, with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
Martin also appears to have moved on, currently rumoured to have been dating Sophie Turner since November.
As for Role Model, he was last publicly linked to Emma Chamberlain, whom he dated from 2020 to 2023.
