Spring is not just for the blooms; it’s also a season of frolicking, and with that in mind, Polo Ralph Lauren has introduced a Spring/Summer 2026 collection that is bold, fun, and most of all, inspired by the family vacation the designer, Ralph Lauren, had in Jamaica.
From ready-to-wear to accessories such as the house emblem, the Polo Play bag, this collection speaks to both the jet-set glamour and idle island life. Comfortable sweaters, for instance, are ideal for long-haul flights, while the earth-tone three-piece suits are perfect for cocktail parties when the sun dips below the horizon. Then, there are the colourful Madras skirts that blend seamlessly with the vibrant seaside living. Staying true to its preppy roots, the underlying palette for the collection revolves around neutral tones such as beige, sand, or khaki—but for this collection, these staples are now topped with bursts of bright orange, flame red, lush green, or even electric pink.

When it comes to a collection filled to the brim with colours, the game-changer is then the styling—something the brand has consistently aced in recent collections at Ralph Lauren. It’s safe to say that this has become their playground, which we are more than elated for. Think of the combination of khaki safari jackets and paisley-printed scarves, or plaid shirts elevated with Western belt buckles and stacks of colourful beaded jewellery. Even the reimagined cable knits—a cornerstone classic of the house—are playfully contrasted with sarongs and flowy pants suited for balmy tropical weather.

That said, accessories—the essence of styling—have always been integral to the American fashion house, often standing out with equestrian-inspired designs. The Polo ID gets a refresh, now available in raffia and also beaded in bold blue or orange—complete with matching beaded straps. The Bellport, reimagined as an oblong clutch, now features an intricately woven leather exterior that is perfect for summer getaways. The true star for us is the Polo Play. As the name suggests, it’s dipped in a joyful mix of colours. Apart from the leather and suede options, the bag now also comes in colour-blocked crochet with a whimsical beaded “Polo” logo, as seen on Thai actress Becky Armstrong, turning heads as an ultimate statement piece for the season.

Like a sun-drenched postcard from a coastal town, the collection invites us to pack our bags, embrace the warmth, and dress like we are ready for our next Aperol Spritz. Layer those beads, mix those prints, and be bold with colours. After all, spring is a state of mind.
