A Look Inside Kate Moss’s Ever-Influential Bag Collection

Kate Moss doesn’t do entourage dressing. Where most celebrities outsource the practicalities – phones, lip balm, life – to an assistant, Moss has always carried her own. Windswept hair, beaten-up boots, skinny jeans and almost always, an oversized bag swinging from her shoulder, half-open and very much used.

Because that’s the thing about Kate Moss, her bags aren’t props. They’re overstuffed, softened with time, slouched into shape. And somehow, in her hands, they move from just a bag to something worth paying attention to.

Old, new, archival, reissued, Moss doesn’t discriminate. If anything, her collection reads like a fashion timeline. These are bags that have lived, been re-worn, re-loved and travelled more than the average person.

It’s the dream bag-drobe in which every piece has a story and at least one of them has lived rent-free on your wishlist for years. And as for Lila Moss? She’s a lucky girl, safe to say she’s inherited one of fashion’s most enviable archives.

Loewe Amazona Bag

First up the Loewe Amazona Bag, recently spotted tucked under her arm in Marylebone, predictably ajar. Moss has long favoured the larger, almost duffel-sized hold-alls, reinforcing her preference for bags that actually, well, fit things. Function, always, but never at the expense of style.

Mulberry Roxanne

Her loyalty to heritage pieces runs deep. The Mulberry Roxanne Bag is a standout: chunky hardware, boho energy, and just enough chaos. The Roxanne’s 2004 origins (and recent reissue) only cement its cult status. Moss has owned multiple Mulberry styles over the years, often in black, though, rarer finds, like an alligator-embossed version, speak to her collector’s eye.

Gucci, Borsetto Boston Bag

The Gucci Borsetto Bag comes straight off the brand’s spring/summer ‘26 runway and has already made its way into her rotation, spotted earlier this year and co-signed by a new-gen set including Alex Consani.

Dior Saddle Bag

Even divisive designs get the Moss treatment. The Dior Saddle Bag – a love-it-or-hate-it style – feels worth paying attention to when she wears it. Her go-to? Black, of course.

Saint Laurent Leopard-Print Shoulder Bag

Still, she’s not entirely opposed to a statement. The Saint Laurent Le 5 à 7 Bag (notably in leopard) stands apart in a sea of black bags. It’s playful, a little unexpected, but the proportions stay true to Moss form: roomy and made to be thrown on and gone.

Balenciaga City Bag

The Balenciaga City Bag is practically Moss but in a bag. She’s carried it in every size, from small to near-weekender, usually worn to pieces. It suits her uniform of skinny jeans and pirate boots.

Givenchy Antigona

She’s also consistently ahead of the curve. Proof? The Givenchy Antigona Bag, a 2010s cult favourite was dangling off her arms long before the gargantuan bag hype now. The Handbag Clinic marked this as a bag to watch his year.

Chanel Flap

And then, of course, there’s Chanel Classic Flap. Arguably every fashion girl’s dream, Moss owns them in abundance. A standout? A rare yellow colour way, and the kind of piece that requires serious sourcing (think: a lucky find in a random shop in Tokyo).
