Beyoncé officially wrapped up her Cowboy Carter tour this weekend. For the occasion, she brought out some old friends to help.

During the Las Vegas show on Saturday night, the star surprised the audience by bringing out Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to join her on stage. To announce the iconic entry, she cheered, “It’s Destiny’s Child, bitch!”

This marks the first Destiny’s Child reunion in seven years, with the last one being in 2018, during Beyoncé’s Coachella stage.

The three dressed in coordinating sequinned Western outfits and proceeded to sing some of their much-loved hits. They began with ‘Lose My Breath’ and went on to perform ‘Say My Name’ and ‘Bootylicious’ among other tracks. The last track hasn’t been performed by the group since 2013.

The trio also went on to perform Beyoncé’s song ‘Energy’ together.

Founded in 1997, the group disbanded in 2006 to focus on solo careers after achieving great success as an ensemble. Beyoncé’s debut solo album was titled Dangerously in Love, which was a resounding hit and went on to win five Grammys.

Cowboy Carter was her eighth release, which she has been touring since April this year, across America and Europe. Now that this era seems to be drawing to a close, fans are anticipating ACT III of the star’s album trilogy in 2026 (the trilogy so far includes Renaissance and Cowboy Carter).

However, with the 30-year anniversary of the first Destiny’s Child album coming up in 2028, some fans speculate a reunion project may also be on the horizon in a few years. All the nostalgia-fueled ’90s kids out there definitely wouldn’t be complaining if this does end up coming to fruition.
