Hold onto your drawer organisers because Virgo season is upon us! Kicking off the season of colour-coded bookcases and KonMari purges, the sun bids a fond farewell to its home sign of Leo and moves into getting-it-done Virgo on Wednesday (in all timezones).

Despite a renewed passion for stationery and clean sheets (WYKYK) Mercury is also stationing to go retrograde the same day. And as if that’s not enough to set the cat amongst the pigeon(holes), Mars and Neptune face off imbuing a whole lot of “why am I so bloody tired all of a sudden?”

Thankfully, there is a glorious burst of optimism softening the otherwise vague-out vibes – a link with your Venus retrograde storyline. If you’re still not sure what you’re meant to be reframing, pay attention Tuesday could hold some clues.

Aries and Aries rising

Have you made yourself clear? This week there’s value in repeating yourself (then maybe repeating yourself one more time for the people up the back!) as the skies pave the way for miscommunication. Pay special attention to exchanges with people who you manage, it’s co-workers (the junior type) who are most susceptible to get the wrong end of the stick. Be kind, we all make mistakes.

Taurus and Taurus rising

Whatever brave new look/love/loot you’ve been toying with this month could get a start this week as Venus and Jupiter give you green lights. The trick is not to put too much expectation on where it could lead, and if it involves another person, make sure you’re extra clear about what you’re expecting – the chances of a mix up are very high!

Gemini and Gemini rising

If you’ve got leave owing, there’d be no harm in taking a day for yourself early int eh week. With your ruling planer slowing down to turn retrograde and mars and Neptune facing off, things could feel a little funky before Thursday. Try to keep a cool head and hold off any heavy decisions or conversations until the back end of the week, and even then, expect things to change.

Cancer and cancer rising

Hold onto your lightning cables, because service is about to get a little patchy. With not one but two astro weather events stirring the pot for you this week, the likelihood of some tech gremlins are somewhere between strong and certain. Don’t panic, the tech freak out isn’t forever, but for this week at least (especially Monday – Wednesday) back up thrice, just to be safe.

Leo and Leo rising

There’s a mixed bag on offer this week, with the skies sending love hearts and blegh emojis simultaneously. Focus on your own stuff, stay in your lane and have a crack at something you’ve been thinking about that’s utterly self-indulgent. As a side note, take extra care with cash transactions. This Mercury retrograde is all about money for you, so don’t be surprised by some confusion.

Virgo and Virgo rising

There are some weeks when pushing through a little friction is worth the energy, but this is not one of those weeks. The skies are giving you a very clear directive: stop pushing. It’s a hazy shade of meh, so save your energy and lay low. This is not the week you’ll blitz your to-do list, so make peace with that at the outset, and you’ll be streets ahead.

Libra and Libra rising

With the sun moving into Virgo, consider it your once-a-year astrological cue to clear your schedule. Now is the time to prioritise rest and go to ground…at least as much as a Libran can. The silver lining to this week’s low energy stars is that keeping a low profile will never have looked quite so appealing.

Scorpio and Scorpio rising

Ambiguity reigns supreme this week as an energy slump coincides with a whole lot of miscommunications. Avoid the clusterf* and keep your head down. Now is not the time for a fiery outburst, especially with friends. Rising above the muck may require a few last-minute cancellations. Stay enigmatic – stay home.

Sagittarius and Sagittarius rising

As we head into Virgo season, work comes to the fore. But the next three weeks will require patience, so remember to watch and learn rather than rush in. If you’re feeling flat at the start of the week, take heart that it’s not just you – it’s in the space weather. Don’t let the momentary lapse in chutzpah get you down (especially at work). Instead, give yourself a free kick to do something deliciously self-indulgent; extra points if you can incorporate a little bit of travel.

Capricorn and Capricorn rising

Embracing ambiguity isn’t easy (especially for you), but the start of the week requires you to lean into the unknown. You could get frustrated…or you could use the first three days as a designated time to pause and regroup. Reframe the murkiness as a ping from the universe to get your ducks in a row. And if you do have to hustle, make sure you cross your Ts and dot your Is extra carefully.

Aquarius and Aquarius rising

A lack of clarity and/or feeling of frustration could feel all-consuming early in the week. Accepting what you can control, and surrendering to what you can’t is your best approach. Your energy is precious, don’t waste it spinning your wheels against situations out of your hands. On the upside, a burst of juicy goodness courtesy of Venus and Jupiter offers the nudge of optimism you needed to put your heart on the line with someone of value.

Pisces and Pisces rising

Self-care comes first this week as the planets serve up the astrological equivalent of a speed-bump. Embrace the go-slows, enjoy the scenery and expect things to move at glacial pace. If there’s no fuss, then there’s no reason to fight, and this week the fight will most definitely get you nowhere.
