On July 3rd, The CIRCLE by Marriott Bonvoy will debut its orchestral concert: Jejak Nada, located at The St. Regis Jakarta in the gorgeous Astor Ballroom. The title “Jejak Nada” translates to “Traces of Melody”, which showcases their motivation for this concert—to capture the imprint that music leaves on our lives, focusing on a nostalgic experience but also incorporating a modern twist. To achieve this, they have invited current and timeless icons onto the stage to perform, from Malaysia’s Sheila Majid and Didie Shazry to Indonesia’s respected artists Kris Dayanti, Anggi Marito, Nadhif Basalamah, and Tulus. Jejak Nada is a concert for all, no matter the age or ethnicity.

Widely known for her extraordinary vocals, Sheila Majid’s music is highly praised not only by Malaysians but across the wider region as well. With 40 years in the industry, her music leans towards jazz and R&B, which means her voice will most definitely have the audience swaying the night away. Her songs like “Sinaran” have listeners reciting the lyrics to this day. The iconic singer’s presence seals the deal for the legendary night—after all, she is Malaysia’s Queen of Jazz. Sheila Majid’s appearance ensures a Malaysian nostalgia to this orchestral concert.

Performing alongside the 80s icon is Raise The Star 2025 champion Malaysian singer Didie Shazry, providing the modern twist to this orchestra. His music career emerged from winning a reality television show programme with the single “Peganglah Hati”, and his victory is a reflection of his remarkable talent—undoubtedly, Didie Shazry will be providing a great performance.

Indonesia’s talented stars will also be joining the stage with the two. Renowned and legendary star and former politician Kris Dayanti, singer-songwriter Tulus, soulful vocalist Nadhif Basalamah, and fresh up-and-comer Anggi Marito. Jejak Nanda ties the connection between Malaysia and Indonesia, connected through culture and history.

These singers will be collaborating with an orchestral ensemble—Magenta Orchestra—led by their founder and maestro, Andi Rianto. A composer, arranger, music director, and film score artist, Andi Rianto will be conducting an evening of music that will touch hearts. Magenta Orchestra is dubbed Indonesia’s most celebrated orchestral team, as they make an impact on modern audiences through performing contemporary music with classical elements and instruments. This band of musicians will be in charge of the melody that will sway the audience and the night away.

If you’d like to experience a harmonious journey that goes beyond time and age, this event is not to be missed.
