The KL Players are bringing to you The Haunted Through Lounge and Recessed Dining Nook at Farndale Castle, a show that sees eloping teenagers Marty and June seeking shelter at the haunted Farndale Castle. In the 100-minute theatre piece, the audience will be served a rollercoaster ride of horror, mayhem, and comedy, all rolled into one show.

Terry Fox Fun Run with Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Looking for a way to give back? This is your chance to support Cancer Research Malaysia and help raise funds for their incredible research work that may potentially bring us all closer to a cancer-free society. Its namesake, Terry Fox, is a beacon of hope for many, as he himself raised millions for the cause through his Marathon of Hope, after he lost his leg to bone cancer. And in honour of his legacy, 12,000 Terry Fox Memorial Runs are held annually across the globe, with Four Seasons supporting in several locations, Kuala Lumpur included.

But if you’re up for a challenge, why not check out Under Armour’s latest marathon that’s set to take place on the Sunway BRT Line. With the options to take it on individually or in a team relay, winners have the opportunity to walk away with up to RM2,000 each, along with a trophy to commemorate the feat. Solo runners are tasked to complete two laps of the BRT line for a total distance of 21.1km, while relay participants split the distance, with finishing time determined by the combined times of both runners.

Jameson Distilled Sounds

Ditch the clubs on this weekend, because Jameson is bringing the house down with Jameson Distilled Sounds, an initiative to support emerging talents by creating a space where enthusiasts and performers alike can celebrate music. From 6 pm till late, The Zhongshan Building will turn into a hotspot for those who appreciate indie, electronic, funk, soul, and deep house music. Performers include Claudia Tan (who received mentorship from Anderson .Paak thanks to Jameson), Talitha Tan, Saint Kylo, and more, with a total of 18 artists in the lineup.

If There Is an Afterlife, I Hope It’s Your Version Instead of Mine

On a serious note, this theatrical piece could be one for the books this year. The original play by Asyraf Syahir revolves around the topic of death, grief, and faith. Starring Myrra Baity Khan, LeonieTunez, and Alya Amani, the three friends traverse through life on a shared path of losing a family member to cancer, where one of them is forced to process her own feelings and experience when put face to face with her friends’ ongoing trauma. It won’t be an easy watch, but it will leave viewers with a deeper appreciation and understanding of the many trials one can come across in life.
