The beloved Bridgerton returns with its fourth season, where fans are in for more scandal, romance and Regency drama with a forbidden-love twist. For those with tastes leaning towards more tension and intrigue, January has plenty to satisfy the thrill-seekers as well. From high-stakes dramas His & Hers and The Rip to a classic whodunnit spectacle with Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials, there’s a gripping story at every corner. Whether you’re craving swoon-worthy romance, a fun time or an adrenaline-rushing original, this month’s lineup promises hours of on-screen entertainment. Bridgerton, Season 4: Part 1

Bridgerton is back for Season 4, releasing in two parts, and fans may expect romance, period spectacle, and of course, yearning men. The spotlight shifts this time to Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), whose free-spirited approach to love is changed forever once he falls for a mysterious woman at a glamorous masquerade ball. In pursuit of his Cinderella, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), he dives headfirst into a forbidden love. Full of longing glances and heartfelt emotion with side plots involving other fan favourites, the next chapter is shaping up to be an exciting one.

Wonder Man

Premieres 27 January on Disney+ Hotstar

For something fresh from the Marvel universe, Wonder Man isn’t your typical superhero story. Part of Marvel’s Phase Six, the meta-comedy follows Simon Williams (Yahya Mateen II), a struggling actor who teams up with one Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley) to chase the lead role in a remake of the Wonder Man flick. As an eight-episode series, it’s light and refreshing, bringing some laughs into the new year.

The Rip

Reuniting longtime collaborators Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, The Rip is a thriller following a team of Miami cops whose loyalties begin to waver once they discover millions in cash hidden in a derelict stash house. The discovery sparks suspicion, betrayal, and questions about who really deserves the money as secrets surface—a series of events quickly unravels. With a stacked cast including Beef’s Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor and many more, the noir promises classic cop-drama and sharp action.

His & Hers

Premieres 8 January on Netflix

Based on Alice Feeney’s best-selling novel, the six-episode psychological thriller His & Hers stars Tessa Thompson as reclusive former news anchor Anna, and Jon Bernthal as Detective Jack Harper. The two estranged spouses are brought together when there’s been a murder in their Georgia hometown, shrouded in mystery and lies, begging to be uncovered. And their prime suspect? Each other. For a cat-and-mouse investigation full of twists, secrets and high emotion, this Netflix original will have watchers at the edge of their seats.

Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials

For lovers of her legendary whodunnits, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials is getting adapted into a three-part limited series, bringing the Queen of Crime’s 1920s mystery to life. The story begins at a fancy country house party that turns lethal, thrusting the inquisitive Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent (Mia McKenna-Bruce) into the centre of a deadly puzzle of scandal and suspense. With a stellar cast, including Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman, the period mystery reels you in for a night of mystery, secrets and vintage glamour.

Shrinking, Season 3

Returning for a third season, fans of the smart and emotionally rich dramedy won’t want to miss it. Exploring healing and moving forward in life, the ensemble are forced to navigate deeper personal challenges, bringing back beloved cast members Harrison Ford and Jessica Williams, while adding big names like Michael J. Hijack, Season 2

Hijack returns for a second season, and fans of the high-stakes thriller are in for another adrenaline rush. Tehran, Season 3
