Bag of the Week: Fendi Way Bag

Yay or Nay?

Bag of the Week is a franchise that highlights the latest, most hyped luxury bags. Each week, we showcase a bag that is generating significant buzz, whether for its design, exclusivity, or popularity. This week, we’re shining the spotlight on the Fendi Way Bag.

There are many ways to carry a handbag, but according to Fendi, there is now a right one. Enter the Fendi Way, a newly introduced luxury bag first unveiled on the Spring/Summer 2026 runway and now generating considerable buzz. The design takes the form of a hobo silhouette, reworked into a trapezoidal structure that softens the architectural rigidity often associated with the house’s signatures.

Crafted from supple leather with a generously sized suede-lined interior, the Fendi Way bag can be carried by hand or worn on the shoulder via a fully adjustable handle—a surprisingly rare feature in luxury handbags and one that significantly enhances its versatility.

There is also a deliberate openness in its construction. A side hook invites personalisation through charms, small objects and other expressions of individuality. In an era where accessories increasingly serve as extensions of personal identity, this subtle detail feels particularly relevant.

The Fendi Way is offered in two sizes, medium and large, and comes in a range of colour combinations that avoid predictability. Bicolour versions pair classic leather exteriors with vivid suede interiors, from brown and lilac to dove grey and electric blue, while monocolour styles make a bolder statement with suede-forward finishes in vibrant pink and turquoise.

Unsurprisingly, celebrities and style icons have already taken to the Fendi Way:
