Bag of the Week is a franchise that highlights the latest, most hyped luxury bags. Each week, we showcase a bag that is generating significant buzz, whether for its design, exclusivity, or popularity. This week, we’re shining the spotlight on the Louis Vuitton Express Bag.

Some bags are made for carrying things. Others are made for carrying a mood. Louis Vuitton’s new Express bag does both, equal parts everyday workhorse and romantic nod to the golden age of travel. Debuting in the Fall/Winter 2025–2026 collection, it’s Nicolas Ghesquière’s latest argument that practicality doesn’t have to come at the expense of poetry.

The name might sound new, but it’s actually a callback to the House’s archives: in the 1930s, “Express” was the original name for what we now know as the Speedy. This modern take nods to another icon, the Keepall, with its softly structured body and wraparound bands, making it as easy to carry as it is elegant to look at.

Shot by Ethan James Green, the Fall/Winter 2025 Louis Vuitton campaign casts Emma Stone and HoYeon Jung as the modern travellers of Ghesquière’s world. Crafted in grained leather and velvet calfskin, Express is sprinkled with those signature Vuitton details: Monogram Canvas handles and key bell, a gold-tone padlock fastening its double-zip closure, and a monogram jacquard lining you’ll want to show off. The double strap system means it works just as well slung crossbody for a mad dash through the station as it does perched gracefully on the crook of your arm.

Available in three sizes and a line-up of versatile shades like Black, Hazelnut, Mahogany, Taupe, plus a striking two-tone Ivory and Olympe Blue, the Express feels like a bag you could carry anywhere: a weekday commute, a weekend escape, or simply down the street to remind yourself that everyday life can still feel like a journey.
Whether you’re boarding a train or just grabbing a coffee, it’s proof that the art of travel starts with the right bag, just look at how the celebrities are already carrying it:
