It’s a golden afternoon in the Hamptons, where the ocean breeze carries the faint scent of salt and roses. Behind you, white tents billow gently—a sea of white linen and effortless glamour. Crisp dresses, tailored chinos, leather, and flowing caftans shimmer in the sun. That’s what Ralph Lauren Spring 2025 brought to life for this show, inviting the crowd Eastwards to Bridgehampton on Long Island, New York, last year.
“The Hamptons is my refuge,” Lauren says, describing Long Island as his home away from home. It’s a place where he’s gathered his family for over 50 years. A natural seaside retreat, it’s where he finds coastal elegance and timeless American style.

This year, for the very first time, the brand introduced a re-see experience in Asia, right in Shanghai—showcasing the Ralph Lauren Collection, Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Polo Ralph Lauren Women’s, Men’s, and Children’s collections. The team recreated last year’s Bridgehampton set, this time at ROJO Art Space in Shanghai. Inside, a cocktail area was set with leather saddles lined in perfect unison and framed horse paintings on the walls. Warm brown tones and wooden textures filled the space, transporting guests into an idyllic Hamptons afternoon—even as the bustle of a spring night carried on outside.

Ralph Lauren’s latest show was a love letter to his enduring vision—rooted in Americana, laced with old-school glamour, and delivered with the quiet confidence of a designer who knows exactly who he is. Think polished equestrian, very Gatsby-esque. Season after season, he manages to strike that rare balance between aspirational and approachable, reminding us why his signature is so deeply woven into the fabric of American style. Lauren doesn’t chase trends—and he never needs to.

For Spring 2025, he reintroduces the classics—this time, lighter and softer. A curated edit of timeless wardrobe staples, anchored by his finest linen fibres, woven in a storied Tuscan mill. From a soft cotton T-shirt to a knitted kaftan and a sequinned ombré dress, there’s something for every occasion.

And then, the introduction of the Ralph Lauren Bag Collection for 2025. This season, the collection draws from Lauren’s other great love—vintage cars. There’s a generous carryall. It’s got that timeless, well-travelled look. The collection spans a range of silhouettes, but everything comes back to the leather: rich, full of character, reminiscent of old-school car interiors. One design gently nods to the brand’s equestrian heritage, with belt-like detailing. Then there’s the smaller shoulder bag—curved top, subtle buckle accents on the sides, that’s understated, easy to wear, made for everyday use.

Just like every other Ralph Lauren show, it reflects the same in Shanghai—it wouldn’t be one without a strong cast. Japanese model Ai Tominaga, alongside Chinese models Du Juan and Hu Bing, were among other Asian models to walk the runway. Meanwhile, guests like Ralph Lauren global ambassador Krystal Jung, actor Song Joong Ki, Zee Pruk, and Cecilia Cheung filled the front row. Song told GRAZIA Malaysia that the children, beaming in colourful Polo Ralph Lauren looks as they walked the runway, were his favourite part of the show. And that’s why Ralph Lauren continues to resonate—not just with some, but with all.
