For GRAZIA Malaysia’s second anniversary party, the theme was “Garden Fantasy,” and the vibes? Immaculate. In a setting that already felt like a midsummer dream, Rado’s latest Anatom Summer Edition dialled up the energy with three striking new colours: lemon yellow, lime green, and grapefruit red. A garden, indeed.
Rado rolled in a charming white cart decorated with fruits—you guessed it—lemon, lime, and grapefruit, to bring the pop-up to life. Right beside it, an ice cream cart from Paolo Paolo Gelato added to the whole Garden of Amore vibe.
Guests who visited the booth included sisters Christinna and Jestinna Kuan, who are also wearing the Anatom Summer Edition on the cover of our June/July 2025 issue, as well as gymnast Farah Ann, squash legend Nicol David, pageant queens Jane Teoh and Wenanita Angang, designer Melinda Looi, Moses and Eric from TANGOO, photographer Chuan Looi, singer Aisha Retno, influencer Kelvin Yap, and many more.
First launched in 1983, the Anatom broke ground with its convex sapphire crystal that curves naturally with the wrist. This season, Rado revives the icon with a modern twist: the Anatom Automatic Summer Edition. The new models feature colour-matched dials and rubber straps, bringing a fresh, sporty feel to the collection. Rhodium-plated hands and Super-LumiNova-coated indices ensure it shines day and night.
Each dial bursts with colour before fading into black, where luminous hour markers and a date window at 6 o’clock balance boldness with function. A black date disc with white numerals keeps things crisp and cohesive.
Guests got hands-on with the pieces, trying them on and feeling just how comfortably they sit on the wrist. Rado’s team was on hand to share more about what makes these timepieces tick—namely, the 21-jewel Automatic R766 calibre, proudly visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. It’s securely regulated in five positions, where Nivachron™ hairspring is used for top-notch accuracy, and boasts a 72-hour power reserve. It’s a watch that works as beautifully as it looks—a true reflection of Rado’s commitment to quality.
All in all, it was a night full of colour, fun, and discovery, the perfect way to celebrate GRAZIA Malaysia’s milestone and Rado’s newest chapter with the Anatom Summer Edition.
