It seems that Taylor Swift is entering her engaged era, with her boyfriend, or should we say fiancé, Travis Kelce. The couple took to their Instagram accounts last night to share the exciting news. Swifties could not be happier for the couple—especially after rumours swirled on their alleged “fauxmance” earlier this year. But now, the pair have sealed the deal, with their joint post reading: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
In classic Taylor style, the ring is said to be an Old Mine brilliant cut diamond, designed by Kelce in collaboration with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewellery, featuring an Art Deco gold band. Some experts estimate that the diamond is about 5 carats and costs about US$1 million. The global pop icon and American football champion first got together in 2023 while Swift was still on her Eras tour. Since then, the sparks never seemed to end.
But that’s not all. Earlier this month, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez—who share five children—got engaged as well. Rodriguez announced the engagement on Instagram with the caption: “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas.” (“Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”)
The standout? A massive diamond ring that’s captured global attention. Set in platinum, the oval-cut centre stone—estimated between 22 and 30 carats—sits between two one-carat side diamonds in a classic three-stone setting. Experts estimate the centre diamond alone is worth up to US$4 million, with the full ring potentially valued at US$5 million.

That includes Dua Lipa’s stunning engagement piece. The singer and style icon recently confirmed her engagement with British actor Callum Turner in an interview. Lipa first teased her engagement last December, when she, in an Instagram photo dump, subtly slid in photos of her wearing a large diamond ring on her fourth finger. Naturally, the press was abuzz, and fans couldn’t help but wonder if she was actually engaged, or if the ring in question was just part of Lipa’s everyday jewellery stack.
But now that Lipa is officially set to be married, all eyes are on that ring.
Little has been revealed about the ring’s designer, but experts say that the piece appears to be an 18-carat yellow-gold band hugging a two-carat diamond. According to the Training Season singer, Turner consulted with Lipa’s best friend and sister before deciding on the custom statement piece. Rather than a thin band (more commonly seen in traditional engagement rings), Lipa’s bespoke piece features a wide band that securely holds the stone in place. “I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me,” the singer said in the interview.

Hoorne may have opted for a delicate band to mirror her feminine style, but the stone was a statement in itself. Unapologetically bold and audacious, the ring is a glitzy reflection of the actress’s unbridled glamorous spirit.
Speaking of glamour, Selena Gomez’s marquise-cut ring is another shining example of how statement wedding jewellery is taking over the internet. In case you missed it, Gomez officially added fiancée to her resumé after music producer Benny Blanco proposed to her last December.
Gomez’s ring features a sizeable marquise-cut diamond at its heart, which experts estimate to be about 4–6 carats.
