Hathaway is cast in the lead role, though we have yet any further information, other than that the film is currently in post-production, and that it also stars Ewan McGregor, singer-actress Maisy Stella, and Sweet Tooth‘s Christian Convery.

There’s no containing this one. We’ve seen many a The Devil Wears Prada 2 shots as they are filming. Here, she reprises the role of Andy Sachs, and is joined by her iconic co-stars, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. It is slated for a May 2026 release, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it remains as such.

Soon to join the ranks of the best Anne Hathaway films, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is currently in production but has achieved box office impossibilities when it sold-out pre-released IMAX 70mm screenings—one year ahead of its slated release. The epic film boasts a stellar lineup of actors, with Matt Damon leading as Odysseus, and is joined by Tom Holland (as Telemachus), Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattison, Charlize Theron, and Mia Goth.
Verity
2026 will see another Colleen Hoover novel turned into film, and this one has Hathaway starring as the titular Verity Crawford, an author who is unable to complete her successful book saga. This is where Materialists‘s Dakota Johnson comes in and is assigned to help complete her manuscript. The psychological romantic thriller is currently in post-production, and is set to hit theatres in October 2026.
The Princess Diaries 3
The queen on longevity, we think this has the makings of becoming another one of the best Anne Hathaway films, especially with the previous success of the entire franchise. Obviously, she returns as Mia Thermopolis, and we suspect that it will follow the character as she explores and fulfils her duties as queen. The film is currently in pre-production, and is being directed by Malaysian director Adele Lim, who is known for Crazy, Rich Asians and Raya and the Last Dragon. Julie Andrews is rumoured to return as well.
