It’s time to say goodbye, or au revoir, to our favourite (or most hated, it’s up for debate) marketing girlie Emily Cooper. It’s officially been announced that Emily in Paris is wrapping up with Season 6.
The popular Netflix series follows the life of American marketing executive Emily, as she navigates work, romance, friendship, and often extremely questionable fashion in Paris. Although since the show began in 2020, we’ve also seen Emily traverse elsewhere in Europe, taking on Rome and Venice, too.
Production for the final season is in full force right now, this time in Greece, with an official photo showing Lily Collins, who plays the titular character, posing at a lookout point.
Fans might be disappointed that the picture came with the news that this will be Emily’s last adventure. Lily confirmed this in a post on social media. ‘Hey, it’s Lily. I just wanted to share something with you all. After six unforgettable years of playing Emily Cooper, I’m here to share that this upcoming sixth season will be our final,’ she said.
‘Season 6 will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of the land. Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we’re now filming,’ she added.

Yes, Season 6 will be the last time we see the shenanigans of marketeer Emily, so it’s goodbye to the love triangles, chaotic professional moments, and increasingly bizarre fashion looks.
As well as Lily Collins, who plays Emily, announcing the end of the show on social media, creator Darren Star also released a statement confirming the news.
It read: ‘Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime. As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us. We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, inspiring your dreams of travel and your love of Paris. We will always have Emily in Paris!’
What happened at the end of Emily in Paris Season 5?
At the end of the last season, Emily and her Italian beau Marcello broke up, as she felt a pull back to her spiritual motherland, Paris. Of course, her will-they/won’t-they love interest, Gabriel, hears about this, and invites Emily on a romantic trip to Greece, where the cast is currently filming.
Season 5 also ended up with Mindy getting engaged to Nicolas de Léon, but she’s got the hots for sarcy Brit Alfie, who doesn’t think she should go through with it.
What can we expect for Emily in Paris Season 6?
Based on the Greek setting, it looks like Season 6 kicks off right after Season 5 ends, so we can expect Emily’s storyline with Gabriel to be resolved, as well as watching the Mindy, Paul, and Alfie romantic drama fully play out.
Who is in the cast of Emily in Paris Season 6?
Netflix hasn’t released the official cast list, but we anticipate pretty much all the familiar faces will be back. This includes Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Thalia Besson, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, Paul Forman and William Abadie.
The only cast member we know for sure won’t feature in the final season is Camille Razat, who played Camille on the show. ‘After an incredible journey, I’ve made the decision to step away from Emily in Paris. It has been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories,’ she said before Emily in Paris Season 5.
When will Season 6 air?
We don’t have an official launch date for the last season, but fans will be relieved that Netflix has confirmed Season 6 of Emily in Paris is expected to air late 2026.
