Autumn has us dreaming of slow train rides and sun-dappled platforms, so naturally, Louis Vuitton’s latest Flight Mode collection lands like a boarding pass. The capsule collection brings together ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, luggage, and all the accessories you need for the perfect getaway, made for the modern globetrotter who treats the journey with as much reverence as the destination.
The Flight Mode Autumn/Winter 2026 collection is more than another seasonal offering; it is, in fact, a full-circle moment. Since 1854, when Louis Vuitton opened his first workshop on Rue Neuve des Capucines, the House has always been synonymous with the art of travel. The fashion house’s revolutionary flat-topped trunks, designed to stack neatly on trains and steamships, transformed the way the world moved. From trunks engineered for tropical expeditions in 1867 to the single-tumbler lock system created to protect travellers from the then-widespread luggage theft, every innovation has been an invitation to voyage. When Flight Mode debuted in 2024, it distilled this heritage into a collection that felt both nostalgic and contemporary for those who are always on the go, with pieces that are practical for transit and as desirable as they are for everyday wear.

The outerwear carry us through the world as an epitome of transitional dressing. Coats come in belted, double-breasted, duffle and peacoat silhouettes. A sleeveless cape takes the spotlight, sashaying in with two-tone double-faced cashmere and a generously proportioned collar that extends outward from the shoulders, creating a triangular neckline that echoes Nicolas Ghesquière’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection that was inspired by the wonder of nomadic and pastoral lives. Flight jackets, blousons, sleeveless dresses and wide-leg trousers are cut from supple leather or velvet-touch fabrics, anchored by sophisticated neutral tones that resist the fleeting trend cycles.
As for those who believe comfort is non-negotiable, cable-knit and brushed cashmere knitwear offer tactile indulgence in two-tone, beige, white and Monogram variations. These are pieces designed to be lived in—whether you’re navigating a crowded carriage or slipping into a hotel bar after a long day of wandering the city.

The accessories, on the other hand, are for keeps. The Low Key bag, introduced in 2024, returns in grained calfskin in a gentle shade of walnut and red, flaunting its minimalist bucket shape, joined by the structured Nice vanity case as a fellow essential. The crowd favourite Express bag receives a makeover, while the Side Trunk and the ever-emblematic Neverfull are dressed in the new Monogram Embleme canvas in two new shades, the Monogram Blue and Jura Green.

As the old adage goes, “Good shoes take you to good places.” The collection, anchored in travel, is completed with footwear like the Colorado Comfort Mary Jane in Mahina suede, standing apart with its engraved buckle strap and gold-tone eyelets. It’s the kind of pair that can jazz up the everyday wardrobe. Accessories such as the LV Aura Flower sunglasses and the Forevergram wool scarf are embellished with micro Monogram motifs, while the LV Arctic hat, a plush beanie with striking colour contrast, reinterprets the House codes with a knowing wink.
Now, to the highlight of travelling: the luggage. It’s the category the House hangs its hat on and takes full pride in. The Keepall and Horizon suitcase, now dressed in a new Aluminium variation, round out the offering with a little extra zing. These are the pieces that carry everything else, literally and figuratively. In a world that moves a little too fast for our liking, Louis Vuitton’s heritage-laden approach stays moored, reminding us that how we travel, whether to expand our horizons or simply recharge, matters.
