After almost a year of speculation and blurry photos snapped by fans, Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal have seemingly confirmed their relationship at the 2025 Glastonbury Music Festival. While the news may not come as a shock to fans, it is promising to see that pair not only look smitten but have also shared what they want at their own pace.
This week, Abrams shared a series of stories on her Instagram, chronicling her time at the festival. Among these was a video of her on Mescal’s shoulders at Olivia Rodrigo’s set. In the background of the video, the ‘Good 4 U’ singer can be heard performing a cover of The Cure’s ‘Friday I’m In Love’ with Robert Smith, while Abrams and Mescal belt and dance along.
This served as the long-awaited social media hard launch that many fans had been waiting for.

The pair were seen in many snaps and clips throughout the day, spending time with friends and family, including Mescal’s Normal People co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones, and her partner Ben Seed. Abrams even got to take on the mantle of the ‘Apple’ girl during Charli XCX’s set, as seen in another Instagram video.
Notably, the weekend was also Abrams’ debut at Glastonbury Music Festival as a performer, where she showcased tracks such as ‘I Love You, I’m Sorry’, ‘That’s So True’, as well as her own The Cure cover of ‘Just Like Heaven.’
“Glastonbury, just thank you so much. I will never ever stop pinching myself that we got to do this,” she gushed on Instagram.

The couple’s relationship milestone comes after they were first linked together in June 2024, following a dinner outing. Mescal was then spotted at one of Abrams’ concerts in October, and Abrams then attended the Gladiator II premiere with Mescal in November, though they did not walk the red carpet together.
The pair have kept their relationship private for the most part, so that red-carpet debut we’ve been anticipating likely won’t be coming in the near future. Nonetheless, this was an adorable sighting!
