Have you been to Tiffin lately? Housed in Sentul Depot, Tiffin At The Yard is unveiling a new line-up of street food vendors—mostly homegrown names, pop-ups and the greater news is, it’s also now pet friendly.

Upon arriving the warehouse lookalike food hall that was once a railway workshop, you will be greeted by a colourful newsstand by Oatside, stacked with magazines, board games options and of course, cartons of oat milk. A few steps away from the kiosk is the latest addition to the space, Pulp. Together with Breakfast Room, the “best brunch combo” collaboration is a good way to start your weekends—beef brisket and rocket french toast with a cup of aromatic coffee is the best pair we never know we needed. So if you fancy a laidback slow-paced Sunday morning breakfast with your friends, spending hours flipping through magazines or playing board games, Tiffin At The Yard is a place to go.

For late-risers, lunch is equally hearty here. Pick from the sumptuous burgers by Alta Burger—the same ones from Alta Cafe, crispy yet tender fried chicken from The Chicken Club by Michelin-guide awardee Ember, or typical Asian street food by Toko Makan Maharaja which you might have to wait in the queue for quite a while, and it’s worth the wait. Those are only the newcomers, the old “residents” like The Bao Guys, Southern Rock Seafood or Fire & Slice, they are as good as they used to be.

Cocktails lover can swing by during the midweek for a Buy-One-Free-One Thirsty Thursdays for a sip or two to unwind. Bring that “strictly no alcohol” friends along, as the BOFO treat applies to all the drinks, including the non-alcoholic ones over at the 44 Cocktail bar, tucked—snugly—under a flight of stairs.

If you’re more of a beer person, catch the Tiger Street Food Pop-Up located at The Courtyard where Tiger Beer will be pairing up with a rotation of street food maestros for a banger collaboration every Friday and Saturday. We tried ours with the generous barbeque set from the Super Boring Club—contented and well-fed was an understatement.

Do follow Tiffin At The Yard for more pop-up updates and since the space is no foreign to events and the next one that we look forward to has to be the Sweet Christmas Wonderland. Happening for the full month of December, there are interactive activities like workshops, farmers’ market and lavish Christmas feasts that prep us all for the festive season.
