Every first Monday of May—or Tuesday morning, for those of us watching—the Met Gala delivers fashion’s most theatrical evening. And this year, with the dress code “Fashion is Art”, the red carpet was practically an invitation for jewellery houses to go all out.

From sparkling diamonds to archival masterpieces pulled from the vaults, here are the standout jewellery and watch moments from the 2026 Met Gala that deserve a closer look.

Lisa in Bvlgari high jewellery and watch

Lisa, serving as one of the evening’s hosts, embraced high drama in a sculptural custom look by Robert Wun, complete with avant-garde 3D arms that became the perfect canvas for extra jewellery styling. She wore a Bvlgari high jewellery sapphire necklace from the recently-launched Eclettica collection, paired with matching earrings set with pear-shaped sapphires, anchoring the look in vivid colour and brilliance.

In a theatrical twist, multiple Serpenti necklaces and watches were also draped across the additional limbs, transforming her look into a living exhibition of Bvlgari’s iconic motif. Among the multiple Serpenti high jewellery pieces, the Serpenti Spiga high jewellery watch stands out: crafted in white gold with a pavé diamond dial, its single-wrap bracelet featured the maison’s signature scale-like crosshatch pattern, alternating polished gold with rows of diamonds. The serpentine head, fully set with diamonds and crowned with a cabochon sapphire, gave the piece both movement and mystique—blurring the line between high jewellery and horology in a striking, almost surreal display.

Rosé in Tiffany & Co.

Rosé opted for sculptural minimalism in platinum and diamond jewellery by Tiffany & Co. Her necklace, earrings, and ring created a cohesive, almost architectural composition. The diamond necklace, in particular, is subtly angled toward the bird’s beak, creating an interplay of silver tones and delicate beading that offers an almost sculptural effect. The Saint Laurent bird brooch is also beautifully reminiscent of the house’s iconic Bird on a Rock motif.

Jennie in Chanel high jewellery

Jennie complemented her intricately embroidered Chanel gown with the Brins de Diamants earrings and a Motif Russe ring from Chanel’s high jewellery collection. Both pieces, rendered in white gold and diamonds, enhanced the intricate textures of our favourite Human Chanel’s look without overwhelming it.

Jisoo in Cartier

For her highly-anticipated Met Gala debut, Jisoo paired her whimsical custom Dior gown by Jonathan Anderson with an exquisite selection from Cartier. At the heart of her look was a rare Cartier Collection choker dating back to circa 1905, crafted in platinum and diamonds and set against soft pink velvet—a romantic juxtaposition of structure and softness. She layered the look with archival ear clips from 1948, intricately designed with foliate motifs in white gold, platinum, and diamonds. Her rings—drawn from Cartier’s Pluie, Étincelle, and Broderie collections—introduced fine, glittering textures across the hands.

Nicole Kidman in Chanel high jewellery

Co-chair Nicole Kidman opted for celestial elegance with Soleil Ganse earrings and diamond rings, including the N°5 Cascade and Crosière designs, the latter distinguished by red spinel and lapis lazuli accents.

Ningning in Bvlgari

Also making her Met Gala debut is Aespa’s Ningning, who looked stunning in her custom black Gucci gown, which she paired with Bvlgari Serpenti Viper earrings.

Beyoncé in Chopard high jewellery

Also co-chair for this year’s gala, Beyoncé delivered one of the night’s most commanding jewellery moments in an extraordinary Chopard suite that balanced scale with precision. At its center sat a breathtaking necklace crafted in white Fairmined gold, anchored by a 6.41-carat diamond and surrounded by an astonishing 140 carats of additional diamonds from The Garden of Kalahari Collection. Her bracelet echoed the same collection’s grandeur, featuring two emerald-cut diamonds weighing 21 and 14.7 carats, complemented by over 36 carats of diamonds. She layered further brilliance with a cuff bracelet from the 2026 Red Carpet Collection, centered around a striking emerald cabochon estimated between 50 and 99 carats, surrounded by marquise-, round-, and pear-shaped diamonds. Completing the look were delicate diamond earrings from the Precious Lace Collection, reinforcing a balance between opulence and intricacy.

Margot Robbie in Chanel high jewellery

Chanel ambassador Margot Robbie wore the house’s Golden Sillage earrings in white and yellow gold, adorned with diamonds, yellow sapphires, and spessartite garnets. Her Lion Emblématique and Golden Braid rings reinforced Chanel’s signature interplay between symbolism and craftsmanship.

Anne Hathaway in Bvlgari high jewellery

Fresh off The Devil Wears Prada 2 press tour, Bvlgari global ambassador Anne Hathaway went for a contemporary look at the Met this year. She wore a Vimini High Jewellery choker in yellow gold, its woven, mesh-like construction traced entirely in pavé diamonds, flowing across the neckline like liquid metal and catching the light in subtle, controlled flashes. The look was paired with asymmetric high jewellery earrings—including a Vimini design and a platinum pair set with square-cut diamonds—adding a deliberate tension between symmetry and contrast. A Serpenti high jewellery ring in yellow and white gold, set with pear-shaped rubies and pavé diamonds, introduced a discreet note of colour and symbolism.

Karina in Prada fine jewellery

It was not just one, but two Aespa members who made their Met Gala debuts. Karina wore a full Prada look, pairing her Korean hanbok-inspired custom Prada ensemble with Prada fine jewellery Couleur Vivante earrings in white gold, set with peridots, amethysts, and diamonds. The jewellery added a subtle yet striking touch of colour against the singer’s monochrome palette.

Liu Wen in Chopard high jewellery

Liu Wen embraced understated brilliance, wearing haute joaillerie diamond earrings totaling 26.82 carats. She paired them with rings from the Precious Lace Collection, set with 1.32 and 2.67 carats of diamonds. Though more delicate in scale, these pieces introduced a subtle architectural quality—fine, lace-inspired settings that added dimension and texture without overpowering her look.

Gracie Abrams in Chanel high jewellery

Gracie Abrams leaned into romanticism with Impression Florale jewellery in yellow gold and diamonds, where petal-like forms and soft curves evoked a sense of natural delicacy. Her Tweed Byzance open ring, set with diamonds and beryls, introduced a subtle contrast in structure, blending softness with architectural detail.

Connor Storrie in Tiffany & Co. jewellery and Omega watch

Connor Storrie leaned into artistic storytelling, layering Tiffany Rope huggie earrings with a brooch set with cushion cabochon rubellites, alongside a Jean Schlumberger Fleurage brooch and a ruby ring. The mix of textures and archival references brought a whimsical, collector’s sensibility to the carpet. He paired his ensemble with Omega’s new Constellation Observatory watch in their proprietary gold alloy Moonshine Gold.

Chase Sui Wonders in Tiffany & Co.

Chase Sui Wonders delivered one of the evening’s most jewellery-rich looks, combining Jean Schlumberger Sea Fan earrings with stacked bracelets and rings in platinum and diamonds. Her selection included Bird on a Rock Wings rings, Sixteen Stone designs, and a Tiffany Victoria ring—layering heritage icons with modern sparkle.

A$AP Rocky in Chanel high jewellery and watch

Newly-minted Chanel ambassador A$AP Rocky infused the evening with a distinctive edge, pairing his pink ensemble with the Tweed Dentelle earrings with a Tweed Poudré brooch in rose gold, diamonds, and pink sapphires—pieces that reinterpret Chanel’s signature tweed through a high jewellery lens. His Chanel Boy·Friend Skeleton Watch added a contemporary horological note, its beige gold case and visible mechanics offering a striking balance between tradition and innovation.

Isha Ambani in her own archival jewellery

Isha Ambani delivered one of the evening’s most opulent statements, adorned entirely in heirloom pieces drawn from her family collection. She was quite literally draped in diamonds and emeralds, her look anchored by a spectacular bejewelled bodice by Gaurav Gupta, encrusted with over 1,000 diamonds and more than 1,800 carats of substantial stones sourced from her own and her mother Nita Ambani’s private vaults.

A striking interplay between heritage and grandeur emerged through the inclusion of polki diamonds—raw, uncut stones traditionally set in gold—offering a deliberate nod to the artistry of classic Indian jewellery. Her chandelier earrings cascaded with diamonds, catching the light with every movement, while a breathtaking four-tier necklace composed of over 150 carats of old mine-cut diamonds sat regally at the collarbone. At the center, she paired the jewels with a commanding 50-carat emerald by Lorraine Schwartz, introducing a vivid burst of colour.

Ayo Edebiri in Chanel high jewellery

Ayo Edebiri demonstrated the power of restraint, selecting a Jeanne ring and Plume de Chanel earrings in white gold and diamonds. The feather-like lightness of the earrings brought softness and movement, while the ring’s clean lines ensured the look remained modern, polished, and quietly radiant.

Daisy Edgar-Jones in Boucheron high jewellery

Daisy Edgar-Jones brought a poetic sensibility to the carpet in high jewellery by Boucheron. Her Laurier pendant earrings, from the Histoire de Style Untamed Nature collection, traced delicate, leaf-like forms in diamond-pavé white gold, evoking movement and organic elegance. Her rings added further dimension: the Goutte de Cristal ring, centered on a 5.01-carat diamond and accented with pearls and pavé diamonds, offered a soft, fluid composition, while the Banquise ring, featuring a 5.33-carat diamond, introduced a more structured brilliance. Together, the pieces created a harmonious dialogue between nature-inspired design and precise gem-setting.

Amanda Seyfried in Tiffany & Co.

Amanda Seyfried embraced colour with a standout necklace featuring five emerald-cut blue zircons, cabochon emeralds, and diamonds. Paired with Five Leaves earrings and bold statement rings—including a diamond over 5 carats and a blue zircon exceeding 9 carats—her look balanced vibrancy with classic Tiffany refinement.

Colman Domingo in Boucheron Jewellery and Omega Watch

Colman Domingo delivered a richly layered and highly curated jewellery moment, combining multiple pieces from Boucheron’s Serpent Bohème and Quatre collections. Yellow gold and onyx elements introduced depth and contrast, while pavé diamond details across cuffs, rings, and earrings added texture and luminosity. The stacking of rings—from Quatre Clou de Paris to Quatre Radiant and Grosgrain designs—created a rhythmic interplay of structure and shine, while the Serpent Bohème pieces added the maison’s signature organic curves. He completed the look with a vintage Omega Constellation watch from 1982, its classic design offering a refined counterpoint to the bold jewellery—bringing together heritage, precision, and personal style in one cohesive statement.

Ejae in Swarovski

Actress and singer-songwriter Ejae arrived in a neoclassical-inspired look that evoked marble sculpture brought to life through crystal. Designed as an exploration of light, shadow, and form, the ensemble used Swarovski crystals to create a chiaroscuro effect across the body. The Golden singer’s look celebrates Swarovski’s first crystal cut, Article One, and features an iridescent Crystal Fine Mesh skirt embellished with 630,000 crystals, alongside a corset embroidered with 60,000 crystals and 1,000 crystal pearls. Sculptural elements—including a shoulder piece inspired by the Constella and Una Angelic families and a layered crystal belt—added dimension, while a headpiece referencing the Korean binyeo grounded the look in cultural heritage.

Rami Malek in Cartier

Rami Malek opted for refined vintage elegance, accenting his look with a Cartier Collection star brooch from 1928. Crafted in platinum and diamonds, the piece carried a quiet brilliance, its geometric lines reflecting the Art Deco era’s fascination with symmetry and light. He paired it with a Cartier Crash watch from 1992, a cult horological icon known for its surreal, distorted silhouette.
